"A Rogue by Any Other Name" by Sarah MacLean Review

How far would you go to get revenge on someone who had wronged you?  Would you care about the collateral damage?  In A Rogue by Any Other Name by Sarah MacLean, the hero must come to grips with these very issues.
Lady Penelope's dowry just got more enticing to a certain someone when her father adds the land of Falconwell.  This allows the Marquess of Bourne to hatch a plot to get his childhood home back and revenge on the person who took it from him.
A Rogue by Any Other Name is the first in the Rule of Scoundrels series.  This historical romance gives the reader entry into London and the ton's underbelly.  While this this romance doesn't always give readers the most detailed descriptions of the characters' surroundings/time, the author makes it up in spades with the heartfelt dialogue and character feelings.  I felt my heart breaking with Lady Penelope and hoping for the scoundrel's reform.
Sarah MacLean really allows the reader to feel the emotion of the characters through her intricate prose.  I would recommend this book to any historical romance enthusiast and even the novices out there.
