Reading Multiple Books at Once

We all have different types of reading-reading for class, fun, work, to a child.  Reading is very important to me and I believe the more you read the better your vocabulary, reading comprehension, and maybe even memory will become.  That being said, how do we juggle all of the different reading that we have to or want to do.  What happens when they want and have to reads coincide with each other?  Or what happens when you just can't wait to read that one book that just was released but you are in the middle of a saga?  How do you cope?

As we know from my previous posts, life just gets in the way of reading so sometimes you have to pick up multiple books at once and go back and forth between them.  Right now I'm reading three books.  Why you ask?  One is a book that I started for fun, but it didn't hold my interest well in the beginning so it's taking me awhile to read it.  The second is a book that I am reading with my significant other for his class so we read just a chapter or two at a time.  The third book I'm reading is for a blog tour that I tried to put off reading so I could finish book one, but was unable to finish book one hence the need to start a third book.

Well I should probably get back to reading since there is so much to read!  However, if you are a book-a-holic like I am it doesn't hurt to read multiple books at once.  I do prefer to read one book at a time, but that doesn't always happen.  One thing that can be helpful when reading multiple books is if they are different enough books so you don't get the story lines confused.  Now that's bad when it happens, but usually you can get them straight within a few minutes of reading a specific book.  How do you cope with the demands of reading?  Or do you always finish one book before starting another?
